Dear Diary: It looks like Legolas is having a bad day.

Legolas said that since we’re going to the Glittering Caves, I should lead the way. So, I agreed. But when we were 10 or more miles away from Minas Tirith, Legolas just couldn’t stand “it” anymore. He just started yelling at me and getting really cranky. When I asked what his problem was, he wouldn’t answer. Now, we Dwarves, in our childhood, we’re taught about Elves and their strange ways, and every reason to avoid one. I understood this as “The missing of things that grow.” So, I tactfully asked Legolas in a round-about way if he wanted to go Isengard first. He must’ve been having a very bad day, because he agreed without any argument. So, now we’re on our way to Isengard, and what he doesn’t know is that after we’ve looked at that for a little, I’m going to lead him into Fangorn Forest, and then he can see some trees and Ents. I plan on going all the way through, so as to end up in Rohan. Then, we’ll stop at Edoras first and visit Eomer, then go see the Glittering Caves. I wonder if that will cheer Legolas up?
Who says Dwarves are cruel?
